The Speech and Language Therapists at The Owl Centre in Cambridgeshire combine expertise and experience with a friendly and sympathetic approach to the children and parents they see. They also have links with the NHS to ensure a seamless continuity for clients who have received NHS assessments or therapy.
Rachael Davitt BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy (University of Wales Institute, Cardiff), MRCSLT, MHCPC and MASLTIP
Rachael qualified in 2004. She has extensive experience working for the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist and has recently started working in Independent Practice.
Rachael loves building a rapport with children and their families through a variety of fun, interesting activities and games to help them reach their full potential. She enjoys the challenge of introducing activities which parents and carers can enjoy doing with their children at home; key to making good progress and developing confidence in communicating.
Rachael has extensive experience of working with children of all ages from 2-16 years, across a range of settings and with a wide variety of needs. She has a special interest in working with children with speech and language disorder and has lots of experience working in specialist speech and language bases within mainstream schools.
Rachael is able to visit your child at their home or at their pre-school, nursery or school. She is able to provide outreach visits to the following areas:
- St Neots
- St Ives
- South Cambridgeshire villages (e.g. Meldreth Melbourn)
