She has been working for the NHS for 8 years across a range of different settings including community clinics, preschools, mainstream and special schools. She has a wealth of experience working with children aged 2-16 years with a range of different speech, language and communication needs.

Beckie is skilled at working with children who have additional needs, such as autism, learning difficulties and complex medical and physical needs. She specialises in Dysphagia and is able to support families and children with difficulties managing new food textures and learning to chew.

Since qualifying from the University of Reading in 1998, she has had a great deal of experience working in community clinics, mainstream schools and special school provision. Her area of expertise is with younger children aged 2 upwards. She is experienced in helping children with speech sound difficulties and language delay and disorders. She is also trained in Lidcombe therapy to support children who stammer.

Lisa currently works part-time in a special school with children with learning difficulties, Down's Syndrome and Autistic Spectrum Conditions. She is trained in Talk Tools, PECS, Signalong and Makaton. She is passionate about developing children's communication potential and in giving children the tools to communicate as best they can, whether that is through speech or an alternative method such as PECS or signing. She is also passionate about working with children and their whole environment, including their family and educational setting, in order to support all those involved in that child's development. Her aim for therapy sessions is that they should be fun and engaging for the child and easy to continue for the family.

Becky qualified from City University, London in 2010. After spending two years working privately in Los Angeles, she came back to the UK and gained experience in both private and NHS settings. Becky has worked with a range of speech, language and communication needs in clinics, early years settings, schools and homes with children aged 0-16 years.

Becky’s areas of interest are early years (from birth), and primary and secondary mainstream schools. This includes working with developmental delay, developmental language disorder, autistic spectrum condition and speech sound delay and disorder. She is particularly enthusiastic about working closely with families and educational settings in order to support a child’s communication in all aspects of their daily life.

Jen is a highly experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. She qualified from the University of Central England in 2005 with a First Class honours degree in Speech and Language Therapy. Prior to this, Jen obtained a BA (Hons) in Linguistics and Modern English Language and a Masters Degree in Language Studies from Lancaster University.  Jen has worked in the NHS for over 13 years where she has gained a wealth of experience in supporting children with a range of speech, language and communication needs. She has worked in community clinics, children’s centres, nurseries, schools and homes.

Jen’s specialisms are dysfluency (stammering) and selective mutism.  She is able to work with children who have recently begun to stammer and children/adolescents who have been stammering for many years.  Jen’s aims are to facilitate children’s fluency and to reduce the impact of the stammer on the child.

Jen is also able to support shy children or children who present with selective mutism. This support can include working with children, their families, nurseries and schools.  Jen has written and delivered numerous bespoke training courses on these subjects to parents and settings over the years.
