Dr Faye Millner (BSc, AdvDip, DClinPsy, HCPC Registered)
Dr Faye Millner is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health & Care Professional Council (HCPC). She graduated from Exeter University with a first class degree in Psychology. She has Post Graduate Diplomas in Psycho-analytic Observation Studies (Tavistock Institute) and Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions (IAPT services). She has also completed a Foundation Course in Systemic Practice in Mental Health.
Faye has recently worked within both the Attachment and Trauma Team and the Feeding and Eating Disorders Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of children with neuro-developmental disorders, eating disorders, attachment difficulties, affective disorders, anxiety disorders and behavioural problems. She has worked with children who have suffered significant trauma and subsequently suffer with anxiety and/or depression, children who are highly selective eaters, children who have phobias, autistic children and children who have been removed from their birth families. Faye has provided support to the carers of all the children she has worked with.
Pre-training, Faye worked in a therapeutic children’s home providing emotional support for children with severe behavioral and emotional difficulties. She worked for a psychology service providing low intensity CBT to adults, specializing in providing support to new mothers. She also worked in a CAMHS education team with children who had been excluded from mainstream school. She also has experience in supervising contacts for looked after children and their families, providing reports used in court.
Dr Simone Raenker PhD, DClinPsy
Simone is an experienced and qualified Clinical Psychologist. Her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology was completed at Royal Holloway, University of London. Prior to this, she completed a PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College and the Maudsley Hospital, Eating Disorders Unit.
Simone has broad experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with multiple and complex needs in various settings (i.e. outpatient, inpatient, schools, home). This includes at:
- Great Ormond Street Hospital within the Autism Team where Simone assessed children for Autism and supported children and parents to manage symptoms and traits and to adapt to the diagnosis.
- University College London Hospital, where Simone worked within the Perinatal Psychology Service helping new mothers with attachment problems and parenting needs.
- The Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College and the Maudsley Hospital, Eating Disorders Unit where she assessed and treated patients with eating disorders and supported their carers.
Simone’s first doctorate degree (PhD) from the Institute of Psychiatry focused on the experiences of mothers and fathers who are caring for someone with an eating disorder. She tested clinical interventions for those carers to find out which support parents require and how to meet their specific and individual needs as a family.
Simone has a long-standing interest in working with clients who have a physical illness and helping them to adapt and manage health needs. Thus, Simone can offer expertise to those children with physical impairments. She has a passion for the benefits of a compassionate and mindfulness-based approach to therapy.
Simone can provide assessment and treatment in both English and German. She graduated with a first class Masters’ degree in Psychology from The Free University, Berlin, Germany before moving to the UK.
Dr Isis Davidson-Olsson DClinPsy BSc
Dr Isis Davidson-Olsson is a Clinical Psychologist, Chartered Member of the British Psychological Association and registered member of the Health Care Professional Council. Her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology was completed at the University of Hertfordshire, where she undertook research on the parenting experience and how it can be disputed by specific events. Prior to this, Isis had been working in Canada for the British Columbia Ministry of Child and Family Development with children and young people, parents and carers, and schools and nurseries.
Since qualifying in 2012, Isis has dedicated her career to working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Paediatric Psychology Services. As a result, Isis has developed specialist knowledge of providing assessment and intervention for issues relating to emotional and behavioural difficulties such as anxiety, depression, phobia, OCD and the assessment and intervention of distress relating to neurodevelopmental and health related conditions, such as ASD, ADHD, Type 1 Diabetes, Allergies, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Medically Unexplained Symptoms. In addition to this, Isis also provides supervision, training and consultation to organisations which serve and support children, young people and carers, such as schools, nurseries and colleges.
Isis is able to visit clients in parts of Kent, Surrey, Greater London, and South Essex.
